District Administration Peshawar has constituted special committee headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Fayyaz Sherpao for fixing official price list after review of the auctions in fruit and vegetable markets on daily basis during the wee hours of each day during the month of Ramazan.
After the release of the official price list, the Additional Assistant Commissioners (AACs) will guarantee its implementation across the district and will provide all possible relief to the people. This was stated by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar, Saqib Raza Aslam during visit to different bazaars of the city and directing the shopkeepers for following the official price list and its display on visible places.
Accompanied by Assistant Commissioner (AC), Mohammad Mughees Sanaullah, Additional Assistant Commissioners (AACs), Bashir Ahmad, Qaiser Khan Kundi, District Director, Livestock, Syed Masoom Shah and others, the Deputy Commissioner visited different shops in Hashtnagri, Sikandarpura, Shadi Pir, Karimpura, Shaheen Bazaar, Ghanta Ghar, Sabzi Mandi and Chowk Yadgar. On this occasion, he met different shopkeepers and as well as buyers and collected information about prices from them.
