GEPCO notifies Ramazan load-shedding schedule

The Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) has issued a new schedule of load-shedding for urban and rural areas during the day to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity from 6. PM to 4 AM for Iftar and Sehri in its region during the holy month of Ramadan.
GEPCO spokesman told Business Recorder that the new load management would be carried out during day time from 4 AM to 6 PM. He said under the new schedule the urban feeders would be shut down for four hours whereas feeders of rural areas will be closed for five hours out of 14 hours of day time. The Industrial feeders will remain closed for four hours during the day and for one and half hours during the night.
