Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Punjab president Qamar Zaman Kaira has vowed to organise party without relying upon electables. He has also criticised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf for accepting turncoats of PPP, questioning the myth of change agitated by the PTI leadership. He said that the PPP would prefer to reach out to the electorate in a direct way instead of relying upon electables.
He said the PPP was protesting against load-shedding without destructing public properties, adding that the government has altogether failed in providing electricity to the consumers during the holy month of Ramazan. He also questioned the intention of state's institutions regarding holding Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif accountable, saying that it is yet to be tested whether the institutions succeed or not.
