The Punjab police launched on Monday the "Local Eye" App with an object to facilitate police officials, particularly the families of martyred ones. "Through this App, the families of martyred ones would be able to receive their pension online while sitting at their homes," said the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Amin Wains while addressing a seminar. He said this App would also enable the aggrieved families to get latest details relating to expenditures of their children.
Deputy Inspector General of Police (Operations) Dr Haider Ashraf, DIG (Investigations) Sultan Chaudhry, DIG (Security) Dr Moen, SSP (Admin) Rana Ayaz Saleem, SSP (Discipline) Tariq Aziz and all the divisional SPs were also present on this occasion. Speaking to the participants, the CCPO said he was grateful to SSP Rana Ayaz Saleem who suggested this App. He informed media persons that all the feedback of this App will be monitored at the CCPO's office.
