Two people were killed three other injured while police claimed to have arrested as many as 16 accused in separate raids here on Monday. According to police and rescue sources, a man identified as Sajjad Ahmad son of Ahmad Deen was found dead inside a house near Binoria Hotel in SITE in the jurisdictions of SITE-B police station. Police said the cause of death was not known however investigations were underway. The body of victim was shifted to AHS for medico-legal formalities.
Two rickshaw drivers scuffled with each other leaving of them dead on the spot at Chandi Market in New Karachi. The victim was identified as Hussain Bux son of Mehran Khan while police claimed to have arrested the accused Sikandar Ali son of Ghulam. Shehroz son of Aziz was shot and injured by unidentified dacoits while offering resistance at Nagan Chorangi. He was moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment.
Yawar Hussain, 30, son of Shakir Hussain was shot and injured by unknown man near Urdu Bazaar, Nazimabad No-2 in the jurisdictions of Rizvia police station. Police said the victim received bullet wounded on his leg. Meanwhile, Some 15 accused including three drug peddlers were arrested by police in the limit of Mobina Town area of the metropolis.
