Three drown as car falls into canal

At least three people drowned to death when a car plunged into a canal in Khanewal's Kabirwala area on Wednesday. According to details, the car was on the way to Gujranwala from Kabirwala when it fell into the canal located at Bhattakot Bridge. The family came to know about the accident when the victims failed to reach home. The relatives informed the police of the missing persons after which a search was initiated.
Police traced the car with the help of a tracker installed inside the vehicle and pulled it out from the canal. Two of the victims belong to Kabirwala whereas one was from Gujranwala.
