Morocco passes delayed 2017 budget

Morocco's parliament has approved the country's 2017 budget after months of delays because of negotiations in forming the new government after October elections, state media said. The budget sees a budget deficit of 3 percent of gross domestic product, down from 3.5 percent in 2016, as the country continues to repair its public finances after the huge deficits amassed in 2012.
