Two people were killed and 10 others including policemen were injured in firing of armed men and retaliatory action of police here on Monday. Police said that armed men of rival groups opened fire at each other in Bhalwal Katcheri in district Sargodha. One person was killed in the firing while five others were injured. The attackers fled the scene.
The police chased the fleeing culprits and approached them in village 8-ML. Upon sight of police the armed men opened fire injuring five cops. In retaliatory action, an accused was killed while others fled from the scene.
