PPP against shelving of Multan secretariat project

Pakistan Peoples Party MPA Kh Nizam-ul-Mehmood has tabled a resolution in the assembly against closing down the project of Multan secretariat of the Punjab government.In his resolution, he has pointed out 38 meetings of 14 committees constituted for the project and lamented that the whole exercise has been shelved without a result. The resolution further stated that no allocation was made in the budget while the government has relocated Rs2 billion out of the funds for South Punjab.
