FBR recovers Rs 9.9 billion from PTA, IESCO and Saindak project

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has intensified its enforcement and recovery drive during the last month (June) of current fiscal year 2016-17 and attached bank accounts of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO). It is learnt that the FBR has attached the bank account of the PTA and recovered an amount of Rs 7 billion. The FBR has also attached the bank account of IESCO and recovered an amount of Rs 1.2 billion. The FBR has recovered an amount of Rs 1.7 billion from attachment of bank account of Saindak Project in Balochistan.
