License fee of Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 on the business of Electronics is unacceptable as it will erode its profitability, said Rana Sikandar Azam Khan Senior Vice President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) and chairman FCCI Standing Committee on electronics and electrical appliances.
Addressing the members of the Standing Committee here on Tuesday, he said he contacted the Mayor Malik Abdur Razak as soon as the FMC floated the proposal to increase different fees along with fee on the business of Electronics. "I informed him that proposed increase is irrational and is unbearable for this business," he said and suggested it should be only Rs 500 per annum. He further said he had two meetings with Major on this issues but final decision would be made after Eid. Continuing Senior Vice President said "we also want to set up an All Pakistan electronics Association at the National level. It will help us to become members of the FPCCI and raise our voice at the National level."
