Government clarifies Sartaj's remarks

In response to a media query, the Spokesperson clarified that the statement at the in-camera session, attributed to Foreign Affairs Adviser, Sartaj Aziz, before Foreign Affairs Committee of the Senate is a misquotation. Sartaj Aziz had said that the government issued NOC to General Raheel Sharif (retd) in accordance with the rules. However, the policy regarding Pakistan's participation in different activities of the alliance will be decided by the government after the TORs have been finalised and in consultation with the Parliament.
