Eleven persons including eight children were died and more than one dozen injured as mud-thatched houses collapsed, drown and in electrocution incidents at different area of Faisalabad Division. First incident took place in Kotly Baqir Shah Jhang, where five children (5-9 year) were drowned in accumulated rainwater in low laying area of village, here Wednesday. Rescue forces recovered all dead bodies of Children from accumulated rainwater.
In second incident, two laborers were killed, while ten others suffered injuries when roof of their house weakened by heavy rain caved in at Agriculture Farm situated in Shorkot, here Wednesday. In third incident, two children 5 to 6 years were killed in Chiniot, where both electrocuted who were playing near a wall which was touched with a pole wire during rain. Faiza died on the spot, while Ahmad expired in hospital.
In fourth incident, a five year old Fatma bibi died on the spot, while five persons including parents injured, when roof of mud thatched blown away during winds and rains. In fifth incident, a woman was killed, when a wall of house collapsed. According to reports more than one dozen injured, two of seriously and shifted to hospital.
