Van blaze at Shahkot: death toll rises to six

The death toll from passenger van blaze at Shahkot on Faisalabad-Shekhupura Road has reached up to six, while nine persons still admitted in Burn Unit of Allied hospital Faisalabad and three of them reported to be serious. The latest two more deaths were reported, where Tanzeela 25y and Shabir Hussain 22y succumbed to their burn injuries.
It may be recalled that a passenger wagon was stopped at Shahkot due to unknown reason and wagon driver lightened the Cigarette. Suddenly, leaking gas cylinder caught fire and it blown and wagon was in grip of fire. The locked door of wagon not open immediately, resultantly, four persons burnt alive and two expired in Allied Hospital.
