Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday presented cheques worth Rs 0.8 million each to heirs of deceased persons and Rs 0.3 million each to the injured as financial aid among Dolly lift accident which occurred in the area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Talking to the affected families, Shahbaz said that financial aid cannot compensate for the loss of human lives as the departure of loved ones cannot be expressed in words. The Punjab government stands with the bereaved families, he said.
He further said that the Punjab government will not leave the bereaved families alone and every possible support will be extended to them and their problems will also be solved on priority basis.
