The first Hajj flight carrying 165 pilgrims would leave from Faisalabad Airport on July 24 and total five thousand pilgrims would proceed to Saudi Arabia through 32 flights from the Haji Camp Faisalabad during the Hajj operation. According to details, the intending pilgrims of first flight will report in the Haji Camp Sargodha road on 22 July. This was informed to a meeting which was held at DC office on the direction of Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani. ADCG Khalid Masood chaired the meeting and reviewed the arrangements of Haji Camp set up in the Cooperative College at Sargodha road; director Hajj Saeed Ahmad Malik also accompanied him.
ADCG asked the concerned departments to make necessary arrangements and coordinate efforts to extend the remarkable services to the intending pilgrims during Hajj operations. He stressed upon the need of cleanliness, uninterrupted electric supply, setting up of a dispensary and telephone booths, efficient system of water supply and drainage in the Haji Camp. He directed that all necessary arrangements should be finalized before 21 July for the comfort and facility of the intending pilgrims and all relevant departments should discharge their responsibilities with total commitment and dedication. As the prospective pilgrims were guests of Allah and to extend services to them was a noble deed and the responsibility of the govt. He said that foolproof security and traffic plan would also be devised well before time. Director Hajj Saeed Ahmad Malik urged that intending pilgrims would be provided excellent services at Haji Camp according to the established golden traditions.
Among others, members of Hajj Committee Ch. Munir Ahmad, Ehsan Shahid, Sheikh Muhammad Amjad, Mehmood Aalam Jutt, officers of different departments, representatives of Faisalabad Airport, FIA, Anti Narcotics Force, Banks, FESCO, WASA, FWMC, and FPC attended the meeting.
