On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,887. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 1.522 billion and the number of lots traded was 4,414. Major business was contributed by currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 561.515 million, followed by gold PKR 558.874 million, WTI crude oil PKR 292.501 million, silver PKR 45.536 million, platinum PKR 36.415 million, copper PKR 22.473 million, natural gas PKR 4.046 million and Brent crude oil PKR 1.560 million.
