KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Friday at 23,219.52 points with a positive change of 209.73 and volume of 138,978,300 shares. High and Low were 23,346.18 and 22,967.64 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 20 were up, 10 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 219,604,910 shares. Total companies traded were 369 of which 217 were positive, 126 were negative and 26 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 36,528,020 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 34,454,800 shares.
