Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family have submitted fabricated documents of their assets before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) and now the Prime Minister will have to resign.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed these views while talking to media persons after chairing a high-level meeting at Zardari House on Tuesday. The meeting discussed the JIT report submitted with the apex court on Panama Papers case and current political situation in the country. "According to the JIT report, Prime Minister and his family submitted forged and fabricated documents before the Supreme Court. The Prime Minster is guilty of concealment of documents about Gulf Steel Mills and Azizia Steel Mills. All these documents are merely tales. These are all criminal acts that have been exposed before the JIT," he said.
He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has lost moral and political authority to continue in office and he must resign immediately. The government should stop threatening the opposition parties and institutions, he made it clear. He said, "According to the JIT report, the Prime Minister has deceived the Supreme Court and he is involved in money laundering, so he should resign under the law."
