Two women killed for 'honour'

A man shot his sister and niece dead for 'honour' in Badamibagh neighborhood, police said on Tuesday. The police said that that 35-year old Bushra and her daughter Noor, 16, were killed at their residence early in the morning. They said the accused, Zaheer, entered their house and gunned them down after exchanging hot words over some domestic issues. Zaheer, however, managed to escape from the scene.
A contingent of police and forensic experts reached the spot soon after the neighbors informed them about the incident and collected evidences. SP City Division Syed Karrar Hussain said that initial investigation into the matter had suggested that victim's brother had a suspicion that his sister was involved in immoral activities.
