The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) workers in Kasur circle protested on Thursday against the assault of lawyers on SDO and his staff. According to details, brother of a local lawyer was involved in power theft and the concerned SDO registered a criminal case against him. It led to threatening calls by Malik Nawaz advocate, followed by arrival of 30 lawyers at the SDO office who assaulted the office and the staff present there.
Chief Executive LESCO Wajid Ali Kazmi took serious notice and directed to carry out legal action against the responsible ones. He said those involved in power theft would be dealt with iron hands.
