A fourteen years old student was shot dead over land dispute in cross firing between two rival groups in Khuga Khel area of Tehsil Landi Kotal in tribal Khyber Agency on Sunday. The administration and local sources informed that Wali Muhammad and Naik Muhammad groups had a quarrel over piece of land since long that caused loss of two lives, one from each faction. Last morning armed persons of both groups confronted to each there and started indiscriminate firing on one anther.
In result a 14 years old student, Hasan Ali of Naik Muhammad group got bullets injuries and was shifted to Landi Kotal hospital where from he was referred to Peshawar Health Centre due to precarious condition. However, he succumbed to his wounds on way to hospital, sources told. The relatives in protest placed the dead body on main Pak-Afghan road and suspended it for movement.
