Shahbaz orders forensic audit of Punjab Land Record Authority

Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has directed to hold forensic audit of the affairs of Punjab Land Record Authority after a revelation that names of 17615 persons were unverified during the wheat purchase campaign of 2017.
Sources said names of 3728 farmers also did not match with the record or rights during the distribution of gunny bags among farmers. They said all these farmers had received gunny bags fraudulently. The Chief Minister expressed his concerns over the state of affairs at the Authority and directed to hold a forensic audit.
