Canadian canola futures fall

ICE Canadian canola futures slid on Friday, pressured by profit-taking and strength in the Canadian dollar. Recent showers have aided the Western Canadian canola crop, a trader said. Alberta crop condition ratings fell in the last week, the provincial government said. Sixty-four percent of canola in good to excellent condition, slightly below the five-year average rating.
