The security forces have recovered huge cache of weapons and explosives including suicide jackets in Bajaur agency and foiled a sabotage attempt. An official of the Bajaur Scouts told reporters on Wednesday that the weapons and the suicide jackets were recovered from the mountains Dawagai area in Mamondtehisl during a search operation conducted by Frontier Crops (FC).
He said that that the seizure were included three suicide jacket (full of explosives) one remote control bombs, three Kg explosives, one RPG Rifle, three Russian made hand grenades, 11 pocket of Ball bearing, three SMG pistols, one Walkie- Talkie, four chargers, three knives, one radio set, one search light, three pair of shoes, three bleeds, 32 bullets, four books on explosives and a number of bomb making materials were also seized in the action.
He told that the explosives could be caused destruction if they were not recovered timely. The official added that the action is a part of Radul-Fasad operation aimed to rid the agency of weapons and anti-state elements.
