City District Nazim, Mohammad Asim Khan has directed immediate steps for the eradication of dengue virus and announced a fund of Rs 1 million for conducting fumigation and other measures. The directives were issued during an emergency meeting for the prevention and complete eradication of dengue in the district with District Nazim, Mohammad Asim Khan in the chair.
District Naib Nazim, Syed Qasim Ali Shah, Assistant Commissioner, Mughees Sanaullah, District Health Officer, Dr Gul Mohammad, Operational Manager WSSP, Amin Gul, all four town nazims, TMOs and officers of other concerned departments attended the meeting. The meeting expressed concern over recent increase in dengue cases and decided to take special steps in the dengue affected Union Councils 38, 39 and 40.
