On Friday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, the total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 3.133 billion and the number of lots traded was 7,009. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,962. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 1.367 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 953.236 million, WTI crude oil PKR 537.804 million, silver PKR 193.104 million, platinum PKR 48.178 million, copper PKR 24.418 million, Brent crude oil PKR 7.310 million and natural gas PKR 1.862 million.
