Spot basis bids for hard red winter (HRW) wheat in the southern US Plains were unchanged on Tuesday, with US Gulf bids weaker as harvesting draws closer to completion, grain merchants said. Monday afternoon's weekly US Department of Agriculture weekly crop data showed the winter wheat harvest was 88 percent complete. Protein premiums for wheat delivered by railcar to or through Kansas City on were unchanged on Monday.
