On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, the total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 3.871 billion and the number of lots traded was 15,280. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,976. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 1.455 billion, followed by WTI crude oil PKR 1.227 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 916.255 million, silver PKR 145.885 million, platinum PKR 103.509 million, Brent crude oil PKR 11.312 million, copper PKR 6.061 million and natural gas PKR 4.759 million.
