The delegation headed by the council's chief executive Mian Muhammad Kashif will study the furniture' latest designs and related technologies to improve the product.

The Council's Secretary Hamid Mahmood who was present on the occasion said that planning a strategy to enhance furniture exports is under progress. This sector could touch US $850 million export by 2017 provided arrangements are made skill workforce, women development schemes and high tech machinery.
He said that Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) should support the furniture exporters at international exhibitions.
