Punjab Planning & Development Department held a Condolence Reference in memory of deceased former Secretary Implementation and Coordination Muhammad Farasat Iqbal, who died of cancer at the age of 52 leaving behind a widow, two sons and a daughter.

Addressing the condolence reference, Chairman P&D expressed his profound grief on behalf of P&D Department over the sad demise of former Member P&D Board Farasat Iqbal. He offered condolence to the bereaved family and prayed that almighty Allah rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give them courage and patience to bear the irreparable lose At the session, Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, Secretary Energy Asad Ullah Gillani and Secretary Archives Ahmad Raza Sarwar paid tributes to Farasat Iqbal for his services to the Punjab and Sindh governments during his 21 years of service as an PAS officer and prayed for the departed soul.
