Reham Khan, former wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, has alleged that she was maligned after her divorce. "Neither I am in contact with Ayesha Gulalai nor did I meet PML-N leader Amir Muqam. I am a Pathan. I am not afraid of speaking truth," she said, addressing a press conference in Haripur.
The ex-wife of Imran Khan said she was criticised when she wanted to make a movie. She asked why allegations were still being levelled against her. She said she had remained silent for the past two years. With the Holy Quran in her hand, she stated that she had no connection with Gulalai and Amir Muqam. She said she was defamed and maligned after her divorce.
"I am on the right path and no one can challenge me. I am answerable to no one except Almighty Allah," she asserted. Reham said that people would continue to love her despite splurging of huge money on defaming her. She said that the PTI chairman's path became clear when the Supreme Court of Pakistan disqualified Nawaz Sharif. Reham also clarified that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif or Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif did not ask her to write a book.
