Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif chaired a high level meeting on Sunday to review the initiatives regarding security of public and maintaining law and order situation in the province. Addressing the meeting, the CM said that nothing is more preferable than protecting the life and property of the people; thus every necessary step should be taken in this regard.
He directed to keep a vigilant eye on anti-social elements in addition monitoring of entry and exit points of Punjab should be tightened. Police and law enforcement agencies should perform their duties dedicatedly with a specific end goal to guarantee peace. Likewise prerequisite focus on security of mosques, Imam Barghs, Churches and other places of worship must be insured. He ordered to continue indiscriminate crackdown against elements involved in street crime.
