KP Police establish Internal Accountability Branch

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Salahuddin Khan under the Section 41 of Police Act 2017 has established Internal Accountability Branch and issued proper order in this connection here on Wednesday. According to a notification issued from CPO Peshawar on Wednesday the Internal Accountability Branch shall be headed by a police
officer of the rank of Additional Inspector General of Police. The said branch shall comprise of two wings ie Human Rights Vigilance Wing and Complaint and Enquiry Wing. Each wing will be headed by an Assistant Inspector General of Police. This order shall come into force with immediate effect.
