A 42-km Independence Day Cycling Race will be organized from Peshawar to Nowshera on Sunday (August 13, 2017). According to President, KP Cycling Association Nisar Ahmad the race will paddle off from historical Bala Hisar For, Peshawar at 9.00 am with a total of 45 cyclists from 10 different clubs is taking part.
He said squash legend Qamar Zaman will formally inaugurate the Cycle Race in the morning while it would be culminated at DC Office, District Nowshera. Nisar Ahmad said that Deputy Commissioner Nowshera Khawajah Muhammad Sikander Zeeshan will grace the occasion as chief guest at the closing ceremony and will distribute trophies and cash prizes among top six cyclists.
