Smuggled diesel seized in Karachi

The City police have foiled a bid of smuggling diesel to Mochko and Mangopir area of the City on Saturday. The police acting on information about the smuggling of huge quantity of diesel started checking the vehicles coming from National Highway, said police sources.
During the snap checking 35000 litres of Irani diesel was seized from dumper registration no TKZ-639 and Hino Truck registration No SEB-564. The fuel was concealed in the specially designed hidden cavities of these Vehicles. The drivers Bismillah and Yaseen conductors Younas, Aziz and Abdul Razzak were arrested. The accuseds and vehicles had been handed over to the Customs Authorities for further interrogation.
