A look back at Reema, Humayun performing with SRK, Preity Zinta

In a time when tensions between India and Pakistan are causing trouble for artistes of the two countries to work together, the throwback video of Reema and Humayun Saeed sharing stage with Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta will send you back to old days.

Reema and Humayun shook a leg with B-Town stars Preity and SRK back in Zee Cine Awards in 2005. The actors grooved to the tunes of SRK’s hit songs.

The video of their performance starts with Shah Rukh performing with Preity on their hit numbers and later in the end Reema and Humayun join them on-stage for an epic closure.

Many Pakistani celebrities including Ali Zafar, Atif Aslam, Imran Abbas, Meera, Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan among others have worked with Bollywood A-listers in good times. However, after the rising tensions on Pakistan-India border, the latter imposed a ban on Pakistani artists from working in India.

Despite the ban, there have been a few projects lately where Pakistani and Indian artists have worked together. The latest was in Dubai when Pakistani actor Hamza Ali Abbasi and other models including Sadaf Kanwal walked for Indian designer Manish Malhotra at his fashion show along with Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Singer Atif Aslam has also sang quite a few songs for Bollywood industry even after the ban.
