Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)'s spokesman Fawad Chaudhry has said that Nawaz Sharif is claiming he was removed under a conspiracy but he never unveiled the identity of conspirators. He expressed these views while addressing a press conference here on Saturday. "Panama leaks were not hatched by any Pakistani or politicians. In fact it was exposed by an international agency which also included names from other countries.
According to ICIJ reports, the Sharif family was claimed to have expensive properties in London through their off-shore companies, Nelson and Nescol," he added. According to him, the highest court of the land disqualified the prime minister and now he (Nawaz Sharif) is retaliating by spreading negative propaganda against the Supreme Court.
"The PTI and other political parties had suggested for an investigation by the NAB or parliament, and it was the PML-N that demanded investigation by the Supreme Court. Now, they are objecting to the ruling against them," he added. He was confident that Nawaz Sharif and his family will be seeking bails in coming days and ultimately 'end up in Adiala Jail'.
Fawad expressed his deepest concerns over the death of 12-year-old Hamid Chughtai who was killed by a car during the PML-N's rally near Lalamusa. He criticized the senior PML-N leaders for terming the death as sacrifice for the party's struggle. He also criticized the ruling party for failing to show up at the funeral.
