Administrator of the Asia's biggest cattle market-Karachi Maweshi Mandi, Syed Irshad presided over a flag hoisting ceremony organized by the administration to celebrate Pakistan's Independence Day with the traders. He hoisted the national flag on the occasion.
Syed Irshad Ahmed visited the various blocks of Maweshi Mandi and inquired about the available facilities from the traders and customers. He thanked traders for their cooperation with administration in provision of quality services to customers so that they could perform the religious obligation of sacrifice on Eid-ul-Adha safe and secure, and with all convenience.
Syed Irshad Ahmed said they were making all-out efforts to ensure that the business of sale and purchase of animals is carried out in a peaceful environment. "Security is our top priority and the administration has put all arrangements in place to make sure security of traders and customers interest will not be compromised," he added.
