Hub Industrial Area will have effluent treatment plant of international standard very soon as Balochistan government has given permission to the Balochistan Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This was announced by EPA Balochistan's Director General, Tariq Zehri during a meeting with President, Lasbela Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Ismail Suttar.
Tariq Zehri has announced that the EPA Balochistan will build modern Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) for disposal of industrial and domestic liquid effluent in cooperation with the Lasbela Chamber.
LCCI President Ismail Suttar assured the EPA DG of his full cooperation and from the industries at Hub and Lasbela in achieving 100 percent compliance of Environmental Laws, as it is necessary for our future generations. He also assured to start the tree plantation campaign in order to cope with the threats of environmental hazards that may emerge with the economic progress of the region in wake of CPEC.
