Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa Thursday met with Commander Polish Land Forces Brigadier General Wojclech Granowshi and discussed matters of mutual interest, including defence, training and bilateral security co-operation, said a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). Both the high ranked officers shared views on regional security.
The delegation was given a detailed briefing about operational and training activities of Pakistan Army. The visiting Polish commander acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan's efforts in the fight against terrorism, said the ISPR statement. On arrival at the General Headquarters, the commander of Polish Land Forces laid a floral wreath at a Martyrs' Monument and was presented the guard of honour by an army contingent.
