Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is likely to leave for London within next few days after his spouse was diagnosed with blood cancer. Sources claimed that Kulsoom Nawaz phoned her husband and discussed with him treatment that doctors had suggested for her. "Nawaz is set to join his life partner in London before the start of treatment chemotherapy," the sources added.
Kulsoom's daughter Maryam Nawaz tweeted on Wednesday: "My mother has been diagnosed with lymphoma, cancer of lymph nodes, left side of neck in her case and her treatment begins immediately. The doctors are hopeful that it is curable as it has been diagnosed at an early stage. Thank you for your kind prayers. May Allah bless her with complete recovery."
