There is a unanimity of views between PML-N and PPP insofar as the performance of PTI government's rule in KPK is concerned. Both are of the view that nothing has changed in a largely impoverished province under the PTI government. Addressing a rally in Mansehra recently, PPP chairman described 'change in KPK' as a 'force'. Accusing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan of lying, he reportedly said: "You talk about being Sadiq and Ameen, but you come up with a new lie every time". According to him, health and education system in the province has been destroyed.
What the PPP leader said, however, is far from truth. Education and health system in this province has undergone a major transformation. More and more schoolchildren are joining the government-run schools. The public-sector health institutions too are responding to health issues in a more effective manner than ever before. The PPP leader ought to have spoken about the performance of health and education sector in Sindh as a comparison for the convenience of all those who were listening to him of his Mansehra rally and elsewhere.
