The Sindh chapter of Pakistan Audit and Accounts Services Association (PA & AS) has resolved to all available options to maintain sanctity of the association. In a meeting here on Thursday, the PA & AS office bearers discussed various options and challenges the association was facing and drafted a set of proposals. The participants in the meeting expressed reservations over the efforts of some elements to dent the unity and sanctity of PA & AS.
The association agreed that 'audit & accounts welfare fund' should be established for funding activities for the welfare of the PA & AS officers. It resolved to resist any move to separate the 'accounts services' from 'finance and avail all legal options to maintain sanctity of the association. The meeting also decided that the federal chapter of PA & AS would be requested to work for making the association a legal entity having its own preamble and constitution.
