Sindh Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has inaugurated the Everst Cattle Mandi Near Toll Plaza ,Super Highway. A statement on Saturday said that on the occasion, the minister appreciated the Mandi administration for providing all necessities to people of Karachi on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha. He said that cattle markets and points had also been set up in other parts of the province and it should be used the eye stock technique to save animals from all diseases in advance.
In this regard he extended his support and co-operation to the team to use it properly but stressed that it should be cheaper and result-oriented. Earlier, the Administrator and Patron of the Everst Mandi Sami Sajid apprised the minister about the salient features and information that the mandi is consisting about 950 acres and covered with boundary wall with 3,000 to 4,500 animals for the first time for the families of Karachiites, providing veterinary facilities with a team of 4 doctors and 16 para medical staff under the senior veterinary Dr M Farooq and his team treated the animals using new technique 'Eye stock' diagnosed the animals in the mandi.
Later the minister visited the veterinary camp and various parts of cattle mandi and enquired the variety of animals gathered from all over the country.
