Central Information Secretary PPP Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed on Wednesday visited the main camp office of the party candidate in NA-120. Ahead of his visit, he also presided over a meeting of PPP Lahore chapter to review election arrangements. President PPP Lahore Aziz-ur-Rehman Chan and PPP's candidate in NA-120 Faisal Mir were also present in the meeting. Earlier, the PPP candidate turned up with another innovative idea of distributing party caps and badges among the voters. He was warmly welcomed by the party voters and supporters in the constituency.
The party circles claimed that the home department has decided to deploy Army and Rangers in the constituency. They said the department has dispatched a letter to the Federal Government in this respect. It may be noted that Faisal Mir has been demanding deployment of Army and Rangers in the constituency. By-election in the constituency will take place on September 17, 2017.
