Kulsoom Nawaz will return to Pakistan after the by-polls in NA-120, said party sources. Talking to Business Recorder, the party sources said Kulsoom would not return to Pakistan because of her treatment in the UK. They said the Sharif family was also considering at one point of time to take her to the US for treatment. However, they decided to stay in the UK after the doctors assured of providing her treatment.
Kulsoom, nominated as PML-N candidate in NA-120, was flown out of Pakistan after she was diagnosed with cancer. Mariam Nawaz is leading her campaign in the constituency in her absence and visiting various areas on daily basis. She is also addressing party workers, voters and supporters, and urging them to vote for Kulsoom in order to establish that ouster of Nawaz Sharif was not fair.
However, the party sources said Hamza is likely to return to the city ahead of by-elections. They said Hamza is also likely to actively participate in the campaign as he has deep roots among party workers in the constituency. However, the party sources were not clear whether Nawaz Sharif will be back on Friday night or not. He is due to address a party public meeting in Abbotabad on 10th of September.
