KP Inspector General of Police (IGP), Salahuddin Khan Mehsood awarded Peshawar Police officials on excellent performance of recovery of kidnapped person and stolen vehicle in a ceremony held at CPO Peshawar on Tuesday. According to details one Azizullah was kidnapped from Hayatabad by unknown kidnappers. The kidnappers were demanding Rs 50 million as a ransom for the release of Azizullah.
A police team was constituted under the supervision of ASP Hayatabad for the safe recovery of Azizullah. The team in light of Calls Data Record and Cellular Forensic information traced the hideouts of the kidnappers and during a raid at Machni Shabqaddar safely recovered Azizullah. Similarly, in another action the Peshawar police had recovered a vehicle from Lahore which was stolen from Peshawar. Addressing the ceremony the IGP appreciated the timely successful action of Peshawar Police in both the cases.
The IGP categorically made it clear that reward and punishment will go together in the force and added that competence, integrity and hard work should be the hallmark of every officers and jawan and directed the awardees to perform duty with more professional zeal and spirit.
On this occasion the IGP awarded ASP Hayatabad Muhammad Shoaib, ASP Gulbahar Najamul Hassan, DSP Fazle Wahid, Sub Inspector Abdullah, ASI Fayaz and Constables Mushtaq, Jumaid, Naveed and Israr with cash prizes and commendation certificates. Chief Capital Police Officer Muhammad Tahir Khan and PSO to IGP Captain Mansoor Aman (retd) were also present on this occasion.
