The Petroleum Division on Wednesday held a meeting with Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) to install LPG air mix plants in Balochistan. The state minister for petroleum division conducted several meetings with the SSGC for taking initiative of LPG air mix plants.
The decision to set up LPG air mix plants was taken a few years back. The concept was to give gas to all those areas of Balochistan, which have not received it yet. The minister of state held meetings and more places were identified for LPG air mix plants.
In recently held Economic Coordination Committee meeting, the minister placed the matter, which needed a blanket approval. The minister of state communicated in written to chief minister Balochistan regarding land rates fixed by the government which need to be relaxed as it is work for people's benefit and it is requested that DCs may expedite it at the earliest.
