PSQCA seizes a lubricant unit over illegal production

Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) seized a lubricant unit for production of illegal and substandard engine oil at the SITE area, here on Thursday. Officials said that as per instruction of the authority's Director General, a PSQCA team conducted a raid at the site and seized M/s Golden Lubricants that was also working as Sharjah Lubes International Engine Lubricating after it was found involved in illegal production.
Deputy Director Conformity Assessment South Javaid Hussain Siddique, Assistant Commissioner West Sara Jawaid and other officials were present during the raid. They said that the unit was seized as per PSQCA Act-VI of 1996.
